thinking outside the milk crate
Hi, SWMBO has been told she needs a couple of new knees. In order to get onto the passenger seat, she needs to stand on a cut-down milk-crate, hitch her bum onto the cushion, and twist to get her feet in, Everything is on the limit ... the crate ought to be higher so she can reach the cushion easily...

Re: Barn!
PS,
Motor racing (see pic in previous mail), clay pidgeon shooting, and open air markets are only permitted (without planning permission) on 14 days per year. Most everything else is allowed for 28 days ... except caravans. I'm not sure if there are any other constraints.

Our main concern was a restrictive covenant stating Hi RMS, From knowledge gleaned from gardenlaw.co.uk, I understand the "must" covenants cannot be enforced against any owner after the first, but "must not" covenants can be enforced. Covenants may only be enforced by whoever th...

, manuals were never read in advance Hi Troika, Men are from Mars. Women read the hand book. Actually lifting to height will not be a problem. Stability during the lift may be. As you lift one end, the pod will go off horizontal, which tends to push the jacks at the other end off vertical .... prob...

Re: Road trip
Hi Brad,,
There was a story of two scrap metal merchants who bought an old RAF hanger at auction. The had to demolish it and remove.
When they opened the door they found it was FULL of motor transport spares ...all included in the deal.
And you think you've got problems?

Looking forward to the pictures, and to see how well the demountable works on a 109" Hi RMS, Picture of The Aunt are in MEMBERS VEHICLES, showing what I've got, and what I'm aiming at. The Romahome pod should be OK on length (back of cab to back of rear X-member), but height might be a problem...

Re: Thought you needed some welsh blood on the forum!
Hi Three, Where abouts are you in Wales? We moved from Glynneath to Kettering a bit over two years ago, due to a family crisis. There was a S3 109 hardtop lying dying on a farm near Seven Sisters, and a useful bloke with a Jap SUV and trailer in Ystradgynlais in the Swansea Valley. He charged £300 t...
