Hi Robin,
Picking up on the thread on the S2 club forum "Natty Canvas Bags" - any chance of a picy of the bunks with the material Matt put together for you ?
How's the rest of the refurbishment coming ?
Thanks
Ian
P.S. I am determined to get more work done and out this year - but I am stuck in lock-down abroad 8,000 miles from my L/Rs !

Re: What's under the tarp?
Hi Ian,
I'm afraid it's under a tarp again!
I stripped it to repair the fibreglass cap and to send the cappings etc. off for galvanizing, but it took a while to build up enough to make a dip worthwhile, so, needing the space for another restoration (a 5 door Carawagon), it went ouside again sans roof, sides and B/C frames and is under heavy lorry curtain-side tarp, along with the bunk frames etc.
The new bunk canvas is plain blue, and they look very well stitched, but I've yet to try them on the bunk frames.
Although the galving was done last year, the Carawagon is still in my 'restoration bay' now joined by a '58 S1 I am recommissioning for a friend, so it's going to be a while before the Dormobile sees the light of day again
Hope you are keeping safe and well.
Cheers,
Robin.
