Do you know, I can't get that picture out of my head of Mick standing with winch hook in his hand, in the dark, in Todre Gorge last year
As it happens, for those not in the know, the local minibus which had reversed into a drainage ditch was recovered using jacks, rocks and bits of wood so the winch wasn't needed. However, if they had been willing to let Mick hook them up I'm sure we would have got most of the minibus out, probably leaving the rear axle in the ditch

I am very upset that Mick didn't mention the Plumett winch, but I suppose as it is made outside Yorkshire, he has never heard of it.
