It's a well traveled vehicle having been all through europe, africa, india before traveling to Australia

The vehicle is completely rust free but is tired, so I'm currently doing a sympathetic restoration. I've rebuilt the back end, springs, shocks, brakes, bushes etc and am currently doing the front end. I've fitted Stage 1 V8 axles (3.54 diffs) and will shortly be fitting a 300tdi motor into it. At the moment it has a Holden motor fitted which is a 3.3 litre six cylinder, it's a lovely engine but it's too thirsty for australian touring.
My ambition for this vehicle is to create a reliable outback tourer so that I can get there and back with few or no dramas

The original owner is now 75 years young and lives 2000 kilometers away from me, but we keep in touch and she is very interested in the vehicles progress. I'm hoping to drive down to see her next year and show her the results

I look forward to chatting to you all and will no doubt have lots of questions for you.
