Paint

Post by Wildwoodflower » Wed May 08, 2013 1:22 am

I'm told that Bill, a very helpful and knowledgeable chap who supplied excellent white spirit-based paint via the Paintman website, has retired. Can anyone confirm this?

So, where on earth to buy top quality white spirit-based paint in Series Land Rover colours now?

All suggestions gratefully received. In the meantime, here's some dancing bananas. :nana1: :nana:

This was discussed on the series 2 club forum. No more paintman, where to buy paint?

Think they're actually looking at some sort of deal via the S2C.

Given the discounts on insurance etc it's worth joining - I think I worked out that I'm up about £20 on the deal (including paying the subs) before even considering the other benefits.

Yes and yes... The deal will be in place in a couple of weeks. In the meantime it depends what you want? I have got touch up aerosol from Smith and Allen and purchased brush on paint from Paddocks in the past with success. Craftmaster do everything you would require. In return for bananas here is IMHO an over-active kid (or adult like me) :woohoo:
