Thanks Les - I was dreading it being 'welded' in and wasn't looking forward to trying to refurbish it in situ :thud:

Re. Ripon & Ripley; so far, the only ones I know of are me, Patrick, Steve and Stuey (88" Carawagon).

I'm sure there will be others who will have booked separately or will just turn up on the day

We'll be there Sat night as usual - will you be popping down, Les?

Cheers,
Robin.

Hi Robin,

hopefully I could be down on the Saturday early evening for an overnight camp, otherwise I will try for an early Sunday morning for the day.

Best wishes Les :tiphat:

After sorting the steering relay last weekend, the earliest I could get in for a retest was today.

I now have a clean MOT certificate for at least one of my Carawagons for another year :gold:

Cheers,
Robin.

Hi Robin,

at least I know where to go to when I need my steering relay done.

Well done on MOT pass. :gold:

The underneath is absolutely amazing, chassis is like new not a patch at all.

Brakes are spot on.

Mot tester was gob smacked at how good it was.
I thought it was a remarkably good looking vehicle outside when I saw it at Dunsfold, hadn't realised it had the underside to prove it as well! :gold:

Hi Ant,

I can consider myself a very lucky person to have found a vehicle in this condition.

Did you enjoy the collection, just another two years before we can view it again.

Sorry to ask Ant but did we chat at the Carawagon, or did you just have a look and managed to escape
before I bored you??

Best wishes Les :tiphat:

I was the one wandering around with Dad, saying I thought there would be a Carawagon there somewhere :neener: . Was very useful actually, not least because there is now one person across 4 different forums that I can put a face to :gold:
