New addition for the firepit

Post by RMS » Thu Jun 27, 2013 1:04 pm

I've been on the lookout for a big catering kettle - you know, the big aluminium ones with black plastic/bakelite handle, for a while to go on the firepit.
I've not had much luck - I wanted an old one, a bit battered, so it looks the part.

Anyway, I've just bought this instead:

Holds 8 pints and should look good on the firepit at the next show, boiling up water with 'free' heat, ready for the nightcap hot chocolate and filling the hot water bottles - aren't we nesh :neener:

Cheers,
Robin.
