A link between Carawagons and the Hindenburg?

Post by RMS » Thu Jun 27, 2013 2:21 pm

Duralumin :gold:

As we know, the roof section on a Carawagon is made from a special alloy which allows it to flex without cracking, whereas aluminium would crack if repeatedly flexed.

This special alloy was developed in 1903 and as well as airship frames, it was used on some aircraft in the early 1900's.

Just thought someone might be interested :tiphat:

Cheers,
Robin.

A link with the Hindenburg!! Don't be doing anything in the Carawagon that might create too much static as we don't want you to crash and burn. I have seen pigeon lofts burn before. Not a pretty sight all those homeless birds.
