Anyone seen this? Fixed roof Carawagon?

This has just been posted up on the S2C facebook page by a guy who is wondering if it's still on the road:

"Philip Hoath
some years back I sold this 1963 s11 carawagon, was in good nice apart from the pop up top, have lost contact with the chap that had her off me, would like to find out if she is still about."





It's distinctive as it looks like the roof side pieces and bottom sections of the ends have been removed and the duralloy skin fixed straight on to the roof frame

Philip sold it in 2009 and according to the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry the tax ran out on 01/11/2010 and is currently unlicensed so it might be languishing in a barn somewhere

Hopefully it will resurface sometime.

I remember that vehicle!

I seem to recall the roof had rotten and when repaired, it was decided to permanently erect it as so, but it is not quite at full height (probably due to serious aerodynamic issues!)
