Rusty chassis

Post by Flo109 » Sat Sep 14, 2013 9:18 am

Hi everyone,

I managed to find another 1962 Long Wheel base series 2a the other day!.. the chassis is a bit rough, ( see trailer)
I've got a reasonable rear tub for sale if anyone needs it, it does need a little bit of work,

I do have a spare fibreglass roof section and canvas, but unfortunately I am not yet sure which I am going to use on my vehicle. The canvas currently fitted on mine isn't as good as the spare, so I will probably swap them at some point. I was thinking of repairing/painting the other roof, so I could attach the canvas first, and then swap the two roofs much quicker, but even that is a long way into the future. In any case, I am reluctant to sell any spare bits in case I come across previously unforeseen damage...

Sorry :embarassed: ,
