Another original Carawagon badge on ebay

Post by RMS » Sun Feb 16, 2014 10:59 am

Another original Carawagon badge has popped up HERE.

I wonder if they saw how much the last one went for?

Cheers,
Robin.

Would the person who did the keyrings be up for making some Carawagon/Dormobile badges? Just thinking it'd be nice to have a supply of spares.

Small images for keyrings are a long way off full size badges - we supplied the guy with the images at the time, but it takes a long time and a lot of effort to recreate a perfect image good enough for full size.

Also, the originals were a metallic red, silk screen printed onto aluminium - that's very difficult to reproduce.

We do have some very good images just about ready, but at the moment the only option we have for printing is onto paper/card and laminating, though I do have some self adhesive acetate which might work in my colour laser printer and we can try sticking it on to aluminium or stainless sheet.

I have a 'test set' on my Carawagon, printed on card and laminated, which look 'ok', but not good enough to pass for original aluminium badges :stars:

Cheers,
Robin.
