Ripon Classic Car Show, 6th May

Hi all,

There's a Mark Woodward event, the Spring Classic Car & Bike Show & Jumble at Ripon on Sunday the 6th May, with camping available on the Saturday night.

Some of us went to his Ripley Castle Classic Car show last year, and were made to feel very welcome.

We have been invited to attend to put on a 'Moroccan themed encampment' display

If you are interested in going to this event, with your camper, to represent LRCC, please let me know as soon as you can so I can sort out the club tickets in plenty of time.

Would love to come, but with Driffield being the following weekend and as I will be in the middle of the extension build, I won't be able to come this year.

Anybody interested in making this a 2 nighter? Could camp at that site just off the A1 - Allerton Park was it? Saturday could take a leisurely trip to Masham, up to Grewelthorpe Moor and then on to Ripon for some food, drink and more chat. Or go the other way and camp Pateley Bridge/Lofthouse way

Humph! Thought something like this might happen. I rang my dear friend RMS yesterday to confirm the dates, as we are having a new boiler fitted (how exciting). I'll see what I can do!
