I'm slowly working my way through the long, long list of work that needs to be carried out on my IIa Dormobile.
I now have a set of Exmoor seat covers and was looking at the seats last night to make up my mind how to approach painting them and I couldn't work out what the knob in the picture below was for.
There is a pin under the seat which goes into one of two holes but there is nowhere for this to screw into ? Did it just screw against the vertical part of the floor ??

There is a bit missing. Basically a flat piece of metal with a 90 bend on it so that when you screw that screw in, you can't lift the seat up

Thanks, thought it must screw into something.
Were there two strips (because the seats can be in two different positions) or was it only screwed down in one position ?
Could someone please post a photo.
Many thanks,
Colin

Hi Colin,
The strip is a long-ish strip that covers both positions of the seat if that makes any sense. There is one for the left seat and one for the right seat. Will try and post a pic for you when I get home this afternoon.
The strip is riveted to the front of the box I believe. The pic will confirm later.
Cheers,
Michiel

Hi Colin,
Here are the pictures.
They should speak for themselves.
