LRCC

There used to be a guy worked in one of the 4x4 places in Inverness who had a dormobile. The first time one I seen was at the vintage car show in Alness. I'm the opposite I've never seen carawagon.

Missed you in 95 when we took Dormy to John O'Groats from a camp site at Inverness, very near Culloden (least we forget - it's not just Max Boyce and the Welsh you know !).

Busy telling SWMBO's mother how we would have had to go by the end of the Firth if it wasn't for the new bridge. Travelled the old way a few times before on the way to Dunbeath where dad was brought up and a few cousins remain.

Will make it back one day - soon

The place has pretty much died on it's arse since they built the bridge Dormy.

I will have to catch up with you at some point.. Family house on Black Isle and my 58' 88" (a landy in every port)... Will take the Dormi up at some point this year, up in two weeks but via car. One day back permanently but not until I inherit...lol

I do mate, went to School in Fortrose so know folk from whole Black Isle. JV not that far from us, family house off the road from Tore to Conon Bridge, no doubt you have passed by! Might run the 88" up your way later in Summer or the Dormi depending on time, promised the old man a blokes only trip.,

Probably, Dad last went back (not sure when) with his older brother and stopped off in the Dunbeath museum. Lady said it's 4.30 and we will close in 30 minutes. Then she heard Dad and Uncle Don talking about and naming people in photos on display. They never got out until nearly 8 O'clock !
