Do you know if Jock connects the stove to the bottle while it is mounted on the back, or just carry it there?

Sorry, I don't know Roger.

I suppose if it's a Calor type bottle, it's very easy to clip/unclip the regulator.

I think there are probably regulations about having the regulator fitted whilst travelling - too easy for it to get knocked in an accident leaving the bottle venting gas

G'day chaps, when I cleaned up a cooker come double burner I found there were a couple of jets missing three to be precise and as funds were a bit tight at the time and me wanting to use what I can find I delved in to my stash of old motor cycle carb jets and to my surprise I found that Amal Concentric carbs were the same size and thread so I had a choice of sizes.

As you all may know I throw very little away so having these jets in an old till for forty odd years very much the same as the till used in the TV programme of open all hours it was good to know I had a choice of new jets maybe they are not that expensive to buy but you still have to go out of your way to find them so again in my case hoarding trinkets from my past has paid off and if I happen to drop a jet or miss place one having a spare for a spare does come in handy sometimes .
