Hi Karl,
I suspect yours will look a lot better than mine! I think it already does really, especially the interior, I am impressed with how good it looks inside, the dashboard is a nice touch too. Are you keeping the wood?
I hope your roof is intact, it's probably worth running some oil over the hinges a few hours before you try and lift it.

Very interesting dashboard
My Carawagon has a wooden dash and I think it is an original feature, but it is in a poor state. Will take some pictures tomorrow and compare it to yours.
Cheers Mick

Good morning gents,
Thank you for your responses to my post.......
Patrick, if the wooden trim is original I will definitely keep it and renovate, will oil the hinges on the roof as it is proving difficult to open.
Mick, would be nice to see another wooden dash, haven't seen anything on the internet.
Regards
Karl

Thanks for the welcome,
Can someone recommend where I could purchase service parts for the 6 cylinder engine ? I spoke LR parts people yesterday and everyone here keep only parts for 2.25l 4 cylinder engine.
Radiator hoses, belts and brakes are well past there sell by date
Regards
Karl

Try Mike at Barry 4x4. I know he can get the brake parts, assume the engine bits are available too.

Karl, how is your roof held down for travelling?
I can't see any clamps
Cheers,
Robin.
