The map has now been finalised.

This year we are at the opposite corner to last year, with both LRCC and S2C having much bigger plots than last time :gold:

If you want to look at the map, click HERE (we are top-left)

The final list of attendees is:
Me (Carawagon), Patrick (SW Carawagon), Stu (Mini-Carawagon), Mark (Converted Marshall Ambulance) and Michiel is doing us a big favour by bringing his Dormobile to put on the stand for the weekend, to add to the display.

There's still room for a couple of last minute entries if anyone else is available - just PM me.

Cheers,
Robin.

Will have to tow Dora to Billing unfortunately. Replaced the gearbox temporarely with 2nd hand unit, but that sounds like a sack of spanners... She is manouverable on the stand, but no good driving any distance... :(
My original gearbox refused to go in 3rd and 4th gear. Was hoping this switching boxes would mean I can keep Dora driving...

Anyway... We will bring Dora on Thursday afternoon / early evening. Depending what time I get home from work..

Cheers,

Michiel

Made it home driven all the way in 4th gear :aaagh: . A tribute to Landrover for not breaking further after the abuse...

What a hot weekend!!

The weather for Billing was exceptional! 26C each day - warm(ish) evenings and only 15 minutes of rain in the early hours of Sunday morning

We finally managed to put on a fairly decent stand with 5 vehicles.

We could have picked up another couple of vehicles which were there - John Carroll arrived in his LWB Carawagon on Friday, but put it behind the CLR stand, and another recently joined member was in the camping area in his Carawagon.

In the end we had three Carawagons (including Stu's SWB), Mark's Marshall Ambulance conversion and Michiel's Dormobile so it wasn't too bad.

Here is what it looked like on Thursday afternoon :embarassed:

Then some more folk arrived so on Friday evening it was like this

The firepit was popular, even though it wasn't cold. Our neighbours on the S2C stand joined us and we nibbled on Series cupcakes and their nuts, as well as a drink or two

Thanks to those who came to make it another success.

Cheers,
Robin.
