JerryD - Thank you for the information.
Dormatic seats are essential. I saw AlexB's & they really are the heart of the utility of the vehicle. A missing cooker / wardrobe I can source locally (reproduction). There is a UK Dormobile forum member who produced wardrobes, roof racks & jerry can holders etc. The cooker may take some looking but is considered obtainable.
The seats, though are an absolute deal breaker. Uphostered unobtainium. I am really surprised they too have not been reproduced.
I will have a look at the links presently. Thank you.
I will post up the quote for shipping upon receipt. The concept of a road trip to the UK does appeal. However I think my mechanical knowledge would need improving ;-)
Perhaps I might be sporting a Safari Jacket before Christmas ;-)
Thank you for the pointers, the pictures, and the effort. Very much appreciated.
Kindest regards
Mark

JerryD - Re DVD's, I have previously ripped DVD's to a Hard drive, and did not experience encoding issues on playback. That said, my experience here is not universal. VLC media player (
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) being very useful indeed.
Kindest regards

That's Mick, Jabbawocky on here (and most other forums he's on, I think)
Glad to see you'r going to try to get this one back to the UK, Mark.
Hopefully 40 years or so in warmer climes will mean it's in better condition than the equivalent from here
Cheers,
Robin.

I've forwarded an original email from the owner to you Mark, I've just got hold of his contact number so will try and contact him soon.
I'm a dinosaur with computers

so somebody else is trying to burn the dvd for me. It's taken me 6 months to get my original copy back. Hopefully we can get a copy in the post to you Robin

Re: Roof racks, Wardrobes etc..
You are, of course correct. I have looked a Mick's Dormobile with more of an interest in the vehicle itself than the terrific roof racks he creates. Very happy for him indeed.
Hopefully if all goes well, he will have another customer ;-)
Many thanks to Jerry D for the suggestion & assistance.
Kindest regards
Mark
