The Kelmarsh show was a bit of a mixed bag, weather-wise.
Hot when the sun was out, very wet when it rained, and it did rain!!
The show didn't seem as big or busy as the old Billing show, but the weather might have had something to do with that!
We had 4 Carawagons, 3 Dormobiles and a 109" 'camper' (which happened to win 'Best restored vehicle in show'

).
The picture doesn't really show the whole stand, and John's S3 LWB camper is well hidden

but shows how muddy the roadways got!
Thanks to David & Samuel for bringing their Carawagons, first time on the stand, Trev for bringing his Carawagon and leaky Oztent!, Mark, Michiel & Mick for their Dormobiles and John for his camper.
Cheers,
Robin.

Thanks Robin for letting me on the stand in my newly acquired 'camper' - fixed bed, curtains, 'p' pot and led lighting - all work in progress. It'll be better equipped next time. All credit to Jim Smith of Wakefield who did the rebuild which resulted in the award of a trophy which was nice. Great as usual to chat to friends old and new. The weather was mostly crap but failed to put a damper on things. Resisted the beer at fiver a pint but picked up some useful bits and bobs in the autojumble. All in all an enjoyable weekend

Robin - good to see you and so many other Carawagoneers at Kelmarsh - so many ideas for improving my 'new' Continental. Hoping to get to P'boro, after returning from my month-long camping journey through France. Will get the breather kit fitted soon,
All the best, John
