How to clean a flock head lining

Dear all
Looking for some advice on how to clean a flock headlining?

Mines in good condition just a funny colour I think it's a bit moudy.

As far as I know several colours were used, perhaps a customer option?

Mine and Patrick's are brown, one of my projects is beige, and I've seen another that was grey.

I would try gentle brushing first, with a handbrush.
Next step would be a vacuum cleaner using a hose and brush.
After that, you could try some sort of upholstery or carpet cleaner - try a tiny corner first.

You do need to be gentle though, as it's not a woven material, but individual strands of fibre stuck to the roof with adhesive, so if you try too hard you could end up rubbing them off :whistle:

I think mine is grey.

Just to add, if you are doing any brushing of the flock overhead, wear goggles...those tiny fiber strands can get in your eyes and take lots of washing to get out.
Vacuum first to get rid of the loose bits maybe?
