Finaly had some time to start fitting the toilet tray I had purchased from Jabbawocky some time ago.
No going back now...
Trail fitting...
Different view...
Snug fit... OOPS... Needs cleaning now...
Seen from the underside...
Pop rivitd in place with Tiger seal...
While I had the big gaping hole, I also replaced the leaking rubber connection thingy from the fuelfiller neck.
Now I only need to refit my doorstay before I can put the wardrobe back in.
But that is for tomorrow.

Thanks, it is a very good upgrade for the Dormobile. Now the isle in the back is clear when traveling. Which is just as well as we are having a family addition, yes a dog, it needs a place too.
Doorstay re fitted, now with a nice sturdy alu plate behind the roof skin.
Wardrobe fitted and fridge cleaned and in situ.
Had a tiny issue with the legs of the fold up lower door in front of the toilet. The wardrobe is a bit deeper than the original one, but the legs of the door still fouled the toilet and the door wouldn't close. I have fitted one of the legs the other way around and now it all fits. Will put up some pics when I have a moment.
Also I am now fixing the control box of my night heater. Again damp has taken its toll on the potentio meter. It is all corroded. First time it happened it looked like rainwater had found its way into it via a leak above it. Now it seems that it is because of regular dampness in the car. Need to open a ventflap and maybe the roof hatch just a little bit to air it when not in use.
Just waiting for the part I ordered. Need to have it ready before June.

CPC farnel were advertising a solar powered fan a week or so ago.
It turns on with sunlight and runs automatically.
Would something like that promote airflow and keep the damp at bay?
Sorry, I can't find a link for one now.

That would certainly help the airflow. You'd still need a in and out for fresh air though.

THere could still be a vent but maybe with a fan you will be reassured that there is positive airflow where you need it.
It may keep your new family member cool too.

That reminds me.... I still have my fans from my defender camper conversion I made. They don't run on solar, but I am planning sticking a solar panel on my Dormobile roof.
I figured it all out for that one. Will make some brackets that fix to the roof with the existing bolds of the hinges and handle. Good thing that on the old roof the bolts go through the roof.
So I could power the fans by just plugging them in.
Yep, it would deffo benefit the new dog...
Ahh, so many ideas....
