Looking for a fuel tank for a 1966 land rover dormobile. if anyone has any leads, please let me know - in the USA. for a NADA vehicle

The Dormobile uses the standard L/R rear mounted tank. Don't know if this is available where you are, but new replacements are not expensive in UK and sellers do export.

For example if you have the later ring locked fuel gauge sender unit: -

If you have the earlier screw fitted sender then the price nearly doubles (!) but is still available.

I replaced my rear tank on the Dormie with one from Rovers North. It needed a new sender too as the 1962 sender unit is a bolt-on and the replacement tanks use the later ring-locked unit. I don't know the change-over year. The tank didn't fit at first - the cross member fouled the U-shaped cutout so the mounts had to be modified. That was a pain! The trouble with shipping one from the UK will be packing and shipping charges.
