The current LRO mag has an interesting article about a RTW Charity trip in a 1979 Carawagon - it was supplied (FOC by the sound of it) by the LR agent in Dubai after mechanics at a local dealership wrecked the original vehicle, a VW combi. Those were the days!

I haven't got to that article yet - I try to savour the mag over a couple of weeks

Well, OK, just so long as none of the pages end up stuck together
