Re: 1963 Dormobile
Looking good.
I see you have replaced the wardrobe with a bench seat. I keep a bench seat in the garage and occasionally swap the two depending on how many will be on the trip (most was 6 once - on a trip from Norfolk to Inverness).

Hi Mark,
Yes, I spotted the ebay ad and facebook posts, and so pleased you decided to keep this vehicle.
You can never have too many
Cheers,
Robin.

Re: 1963 Dormobile
It looks like the wardrobe is missing from the last couple of pictures. Change of plan? Storage is one of the biggest problems in a Dormie. Where to put it all?

Re: 1963 Dormobile
hello,
the front seats, is there a chance to see how it's done? I'd like to replicate them. Thanks very much

Yes I stuck it on eBay!...
Moment of madness!.. It got up to £ 3075.00 in about an hour!...some phone calls and emails
A few friends out their messaged me and said don't sell!.. I stopped the auction!..
I'm hopefully going to the overland show last weekend of April, depends on time and funds!.. I'm restoring a 1964 Austin Healey and trying to finish of my 101 at the moment,
Hope everyone ready for the summer!..

Hi everyone,
Not much to report, enjoyed the adventure and overland show, I'm sorting out my old Marshall ambulance out at the moment has well as the Dormobile, and the other projects!..
I'm just about the respray both the Dormobile and Marshall roofs hopefully tomorrow!..
Roof rack and awning rails are off the Dormobile and its back on the school run!..
Il stick some pictures on in the next couple of days!..
The one picture is of a gargoyle I've recently fitted to ward off evil spirits!...

G'day Bro, that ambulance is the same colour as mine, as you probably know my darn disability holds me back big time, at lest I love what I do and achieve on very tight shoe string. Making things from other peoples cast off's is very common for me.
Catch you later. R-Rose .
