I asked this question earlier today on the S2 forum and was directed here. Why I didn't think of posting here first I don't know but there you go...
My question is purely one of curiosity. Has anybody got any 'fairly' close up pic's of how the pieces on a Carawagon (as opposed to the Dormobile) roof go into place and seal? I think I have it right when I say that the Carawagon roof raises all along and then has fillet like pieces folded up to raise the roof line. How do they work and are they weatherproof (storm proof even)?
I have to profess that I do not own a Carawagon I am simply curious to know how the system works

Hi Kevan,
I don't have detailed pictures to hand, but will dig some out, including the folding/lifting sequence, when I get a chance (still in the middle of moving!!).
Meanwhile, have a browse through the technical section - there are bound to be pictures of Carawagon roofs and seals, maybe even ones I have posted up!
Cheers,
Robin.

I'll put it in my diary for this weekend when Patrick might be helping me move some more heavy stuff - axles, engines, tyre changer etc.
That way we can take pictures of all the stages of the roof going up and folding to give you a better idea, I hope.
We really ought to have pictures like that as a sticky in the technical section, as well as a Dormobile roof going up, just for those who wonder how it works
I'll see what I can do.
Cheers,
Robin.
