Old Versus The New......

Post by jerryd » Sat Jul 21, 2012 11:25 pm

Had the pleasure of playing with a new "Range Rover Evoque" today :woohoo:

I must say it's nothing like a land rover but more like a mini on steroids. It was very fast  but of course I didn't put my foot down much.

Very nice but I wouldn't pay $77k for one, it made a nice backdrop for the dormobile though :wine:

As you say Jerry, "nothing like a Land Rover" :neener:

Ok, it may be bristling with technology, but as you say, at $77k (£30-40k here) it's got limited appeal and will sell to the Porsch Cayenne, BMW X5 etc. rich cats

Personally, I think it will sell to the well-off commuting business folk and school run mums - has no appeal to me, I'm afraid :thud:

Cheers,
Robin.

Just to note £50,000 plus for X5 and Cayenne, may be you meant X3.
