Hello from NE Scotland

With gentle reminder from RMS I have registered.

I have three Dormobiles, so must like them.

In no order of importance a 63, 66 and 69. I will get the chassis number/build plate details loaded later, it may or may not help narrow down build dates for those wishing to accurately date others.

History of the 66 vehichle is known, the 63 was exported, reimported, rexported and then found in Jersey. After a bit of detective work and assistance from LR2C, managed to recover it's original 3/3 registration number from DVLA. The 69 is a six pot, but has not been subject to a detailed history research.

They are not used as much as they should, but hopefully this year at least 2 of them will head round Europe.

I have aquired over time a significant collection of surplus bit's and pieces, which, when time allows I will list for potential swaps against other bits.

Hi, and Welcome :hello:

It's always good to get established Carawagon/Dormobile (as well as other conversions, of course  ) owners on here.

How far up in NE Scotland are you?
We've got a fairly full calendar of shows through the summer, but mostly in the North of England down to the Midlands. Perhaps you might be able to get to one or two?

Oh, and we like photos :tiphat:

Cheers,
Robin.

he is in Aberdeenshire Robin!

Not a million miles from that Carawagon that was for sale.....................

Me you know, but there seems to be a few of us Dormi owners in these parts (we tolerate the garden shed top lovers like Robin  )

P.S Will respond to email tonight, currently supposed to be working!!

Hi Graham and welcome

If you ever get the urge (and have one surplus) I would swap a front domobile passenger bench seat for some folding.
