Hello campers!
I used to have a Land Rover workshop in deepest Wensleydale, but my Dormobile has been with me for much longer, cant remember exactly how long but its over30 years. I now live in Italy, for those of you who know i am in Le Marche near Montefortino, backed into the Appennines with mountains on three sides and one hell of a lot of snow at the moment although it is thawing slightly. I have done over 12 trips to Italy for off road weekends with the Italian LR Club and have done all the mountain passes via France, Switzerland and Austria on the way here in the Dormobile.
I still repair the ocasional LR for locals but there arent many here.I would be happy to help anyone on their trips to Italy either with info or parts and repairs if in desperate need although my stocks are mainly series2,3 and90.
Look forward to reading all your happenings in the future.
Dick.

Welcome Dick - you've obviously been around Dormobiles and Land Rovers longer than most of us

Now we know where to plan our next trip - Le Marche anyone :neener:

Cheers,
Robin.

That would be a splendid adventure in convoy.

How many tins of spam and sponge pudding would I have to stash away for that trip?

Film opportunity for channel 4?

Or would we need a D list celebrity to join us in a cheque book restoration to make them interested?

At least we'd have a full back up crew and medical kit to help us out if I cut my finger on a spam tin!

Hi Dick

Louise wants to come to Italy for our next major trip, but just about to start a extension to the house, so probably won't be this year :( Will definitely be in touch when we know when we are coming.

Cheers Mick
