Hi guys,
Just a reminder that if you want to join us at the Ripon Classic Car & Bike Show on Sunday, 5th May, the booking form needs to be received by Mark Woodward before 26th April.
The downloadable form is available HERE.

Previously I have booked us in as a club, and I can still do that if you prefer, but as payment needs to be made with the booking it's probably easier for everyone to book individually rather than sending money to me.
However, so that we can be allocated space, please fill in the form with 'YES' in the Club entry booking section, followed by (LRCC).

While you are sending the form in, you might like to book for any other of the Mark Woodward shows you want to attend.
As well as the Ripon show, we are probably attending Ripley Castle on the 27th May and the next Ripon show on 1st September.

We are thinking of going to this one, however what does worry me a little bit is that if we are all registering separately then that they may not put us together as they don't recognise us as a group / club.
Personally I would be happier if we paid one central person and they paid and then the organisers would be aware that there would be xyz amount in a group. My experience doing things like this (although not booking classic car shows) is that no matter how many times you tell them you are part of a group they still manage to separate you!

If the consensus is that we book as a club, then I'll do it

However, we have an excellent relationship with Mark Woodward, and he knows that we will be there en masse and will allocate us enough room even for last minute arrivals.
We had established pitches last year for Ripon, Ripley Castle etc. and I'm sure we will be given the same areas again this year.

Some of us will be there the day before as well, so will mark out our area before the masses arrive

Booking individually sounds like a plan then! I didn't want to book, then find out we would be scattered to the four winds. I'm happy that you're happy that we can book individually and still end up together. I would love to camp, however, unfortunately we will not be camping due to personal circumstances.

No problem Les - don't forget that you'll have to apply using THIS FORM if you want to get in for the £3.50 admin fee (includes vehicle, two people and camping).

If you arrive without pre-booking as a show vehicle, I think you can still get your vehicle in, but you might have to pay £6 per person

Mark has tightened up this year, so no freebies

Hi all

Hoping to get to this one. Form has gone in the post, so hopefully Mark will get it on time? Unfortunately, probably going to miss the Saturday evening. Still not sorted a dog kennel!!

Just getting ready for the Ripon show

Hope to see others there either this afternoon for camping, or tomorrow for showing.

As Gordon has just pointed out on the S2C forum, you can arrive on the day to show your vehicle, but it does cost (I think) £6.50.
