Harrogate 18/19 May (Was LRO Driffield)

It's time to apply for tickets for the Land Rover Spring Adventure at Harrogate showground.
This was the LRO Driffield show last year (LRO have pulled out, but it's still being hosted by Live Promotions).
If you would like to be considered for tickets, please PM me as soon as possible.
We will probably get the usual 8 vehicle passes, and we have asked (but no guarantee) to be positioned next to the S2C stand.
This year the organisers are asking for full names of the drivers and the vehicle details - year, model & reg.
I think they are tightening up on tickets, which means no last minute swaps

so please be sure you can make it if you ask for a ticket.
Priority will be given to those who can make the full weekend, arriving to set up on Friday afternoon/evening and staying until Sunday afternoon.
Cheers,
Robin.

Hi Robin hope you well, had to speak to Frank and he has told me that they haven't asked him for any names or registrations, so I don't know what's happening there kath

Don't know what's going on there then - the club application form definitely asks for vehicle details, inc. reg number and names!
Perhaps they have changed their minds and realised just how difficult the admin would be
I suppose we'll see nearer the time when they send the passes out
Cheers,
Robin.
PS. Are you on the S2C list for passes?

We've still got one vehicle pass for the LRCC Show Stand
Anyone else want to join us before it gets offered to the Series 2 Club?
Cheers,
Robin.

I've just been contacted by one of the Live Promotions team, asking if we can go into the arena as the last show on Sunday
They would like to talk to us about LRCC and the campers, and would like as many of us in the arena as possible, driving around the arena while one of us talks to the presenter
The idea of going in as the last act is that we can pack up the camp and not have to set up again, though it would be good to go in with roofs up.
So, please don't rush away early on Sunday
Oh, and they want to know how many we will be bringing in, so hopefully I can tell them 7 or 8
If anyone has a problem with that, please let me know
Cheers,
Robin.

We're thinking of doing our usual 'Show' Kefta for the LRCC stand again, if anyone wants to join in?
Cost will be £3 per person.
Please let us know (PM or reply here) if you want to partake on Saturday evening.
We'll need to know before Wednesday so we've got time to shop and prepare it.
Cheers,
Robin.

The passes have arrived

but yet again we have been foiled in our stand allocation!
Despite doing what the organisers asked, we are separate from the S2C stand
When this happened at Peterborough last year, the organisers suggested I write on each pass application that we would like to be next to the S2C, and that's what I did this year to no avail
I've got a call in to them and I'm waiting for a reply, but it's too late to get anything changed as all the club passes have gone out with their allocated spaces marked.
Let's just hope they can get it right for the next show
