This years insurance trials...

OK, feel free to let me know if you have experienced the same!!
FJ would no longer insure my Dormobile as a Classic Land Rover, but had it switched to a Classic Camper... The cost of the insurance subsequently increased considerably.... Last year I had all three LR's on one policy and it was cost effective, this year it would have cost me in excess of £300. This is not an issue in itself as the 58' has no gone to my dad and the 65' is in bits (and I can't get insurance on it in bits..)
So after going around the various firms I am insuring with Heritage this year on a Classic policy. This doesn't have breakdown but then again I don't need it as I have it separately. It does include 90 days European Cover and an agreed value on the old girl (I have also upped the insurance value considerably after realising how grossly under insured I am at this moment
this also had an effect on premiums).
Well until the 65' is rebuilt we are done for another year....
