I am heading up to a small camp site to check it out for a possible site for a camp next year, Does anyone fancy joining me next weekend 11th/ 12th. The camp site is at Bungdale Head Farm, 01439770589 in a small village called Scawton, not far from Helmsly. You do not need to book in you can just turn up, £4.50 a night PP and an extra £3.50 if you want a hook up. I will be there from about Friday lunch. Let me know if you want to join me.
All the best Gordon

PS this is a very basic site with just 2 toilets with hot water sink.

Good timing Gordon as I missed out on AO at Stratford last weekend - count me in - mind you I'll be 'soft camping' in my folder, towed by my new French beauty
cheers

But we always get 'complaints' the morning after from those less well equipped
Wait until Newark - I'm sure Patrick, Steve and I will all be firing up the 'jet engines' if it's another cold one
(Note to myself - must get around to making an exhaust silencer for mine

)
Cheers,
Robin.

Hi you happy lot, how's things out there.
Sorry we can't make it to this one.
We are going to Newark tho and have got our warm stuff packed already

.
I've only got one order for goodies so if you would like me to bake something then just ask.
Thought I might do some parkin and maybe some toffee/fudge (it should be fudge but ends up like toffee)lol.
Anyway take care and I'll see you soon
Kath

Looks like the temperature might drop before the weekend so I'll have my winter duvet, trainers and top plus two hot water bottles and a drink or three before I turn in. Lighting the gas stove for a couple of minutes or so soon heats up the place.
Looking forward to the usual good craic.
See you Friday about lunchtime, solo this time.
cheers
John H
Kath, no specific orders, anything you cook is fine by me
