For sale Carawagon in Germany

Im pretty sure, i will regret it sometimes, but here

http://s1189.photobucket.com/user/wienu ... t=3&page=1

you will find some photos. Please bear in mind, that some pictures may not show the current status, sorry, i dont have no new ones, as the car is still prepared for winter in a shed.

its a 1964 2a 109 petrol 2,25, RHD. Chassis unwelded, pretty good overall, treated with "Sanders" grease. bulkhead overall pretty good, beneath lower door hinge offside rust from inside, treated with Sander grease as well, seemed to have stopped further rust.
Regular searle furniture inside. The bench isnt original as is the fridge and its cabinet. But nicely hidden, i think. And expensive, too. Had to be changed because of german gas regulations.
Has heated screens, overdrive, roof rack, side awning, towing hitch, new core for smith round heater (clayton matrix). Both wipers working. Wiper hose melted on exhaust. :-( Bought in 2009, im still very pleased, but (new) girl friend wants seat belts, which would be a shame and pretty difficult to install, as there are the original wooden panels to hide the side walls.
Pretty an early example, different side and roof windows.
Im sure, i forgot at least half of the information, but have a look at the pictures.

If theres interest, contact me.

Regards

Stefan

It looks very nice and I'm sure you'll regret selling it at some point. Some of those pics are excellent

Seriously Stefan - if your new girlfriend doesn't like your Carawagon hence selling it - you have the wrong girlfriend!

I don't know where I read the reason for selling it but all these guys on here will agree with me

Youre right, but dont tell HER !

Theres a second reason:

Now i live in the city and there are NO chances to park the car in the street. The Carawagon is way too high for my underground car park.
So i found a place to park it some 1 mile from where i live. Nicely tucked under a car port of a friend of mine. But its my only car.
So, driving by car means a nice little walk just to get there.

A standard 88 isnt that high and will fit in my garage. See ?
And, i cant afford two cars, unfortunately.

So it will have to go. :holly_arrive:

Would Plan B be to take it off the road for a year or two and get a small Eurobox? Gives you time to work on the girl friend too!

Lets see, what the future brings.

I would like to drive a bog standard 2a 88 (fits in my garage) and a small caravan behind it (home, sweet home), and i would be happy.

cheers

Stefan

Hi Chris;

it is, it is !

Used it during the season, as no one wanted to buy.

Now again (still) for sale.

Cheers

Stefan
