Got wood??

Just a reminder to those of you who join us at shows/events - please keep an eye out for wood that can be used on the firepit(s).
We've had a very good supply for the last couple of years courtesy of Neil (Muckitup); damaged scaffold boards cut to short lengths requiring just a couple of chops to split- perfect for the firepit. However, that supply seems to have dried up now, so we're asking everyone to try to bring what they can.
As a guide, we normally go through 1 to 2 bags (big gardening/builders sacks packed tight with solid wood) per evening.

I'm just sorting out the last of what we got from Neil last year, but we've only enough for the next couple of events.
I'm supplementing it with wood from 'found' pallets, old fencing etc. and would ask others to do the same, please.
No chipboard or painted wood though, please, due to carcinogens released when burnt!
Please bear it in mind when you see a pallet or whatever dumped at the side of the road, or see any house building going on
Cheers,
Robin.
