As I understand it Gordon, yes, we'll have the same special arrangements.
That is, as long as any tents are put away before the show opens to the public
I'll contact the organisers nearer the time to confirm nothing has changed.
Cheers,
Robin.

Right, we've just been sent the details, but still have the un-answered question of camping the night before.
I've sent an email to confirm whether we can, or not, so we're just waiting for a reply.
Cheers,
Robin.

No news yet Gordon.
I think the organisers are checking with the racecourse officials - I would think it's down to security and whether they want anyone wandering about at night
They did say there were no facilities overnight, but I think we're all ok with that
As soon as I find out, I'll let everyone know
Cheers,
Robin.

I've had a response back from the organisers - it's still not clear if we can camp at the show this year!
The problem is, if anyone is in the racecourse at night, camping or otherwise, there is a charge for security staff of £14 per hour all night.
If enough folk book rooms in the on-site hotel, then the cost of the security is waived. The break point is 10 rooms.
Unfortunately this is a small show and there were only a small number of traders in caravans/motorhomes, and us, who regularly camped at the previous venue, so it seems unlikely they will get 10 traders to book into the hotel.
The organisers say they will let me know nearer the time, and as soon as I know I'll let everyone else know.
Just to make the point though, camping at one-day shows is usually incidental due to some traders wanting to set up the day before. It's all down to the agreement the organisers have with the land owners, and of course, costs
Cheers,
Robin.

They're having a meeting with the racecourse officials next Wednesday, so we should know shortly after.

The latest news is that there is a 'secluded' area, within the racecourse right next to where the show will be held, but not covered by their security, where we could camp on the Saturday night.
It's not ideal as we would have to pack up to move to the show area early on Sunday morning, but it seems to be the best they can do for this year.
Here's a map showing the area.
It looks like the 'camping' area might be hard-standing, probably hardcore rather than tarmac though, so might be ok for tent pegs, but no guarantees
