Short notice, local Wakefield classic car show, 25th May

Short notice, I know, but there's a local Classic Car show, "Classics on the Heath", Heath Common, Wakefield on Sunday 25th May.
I'll be there with the Carawagon, if anyone else wants to join me?
Entry is, I think, £3.50, pay on the gate - no camping the night before though as Heath Common has very strict bylaws!
Might be a nice day out for anyone local, if the weather is good!
Cheers,
Robin.

For anyone interested in coming to this, I'll be there from around 08:30 as I've been drafted in to help
Come early and I'll try to get us all in one area.
For sat nav or Google maps the nearest postcode reference is WF1 5SF.
Cheers,
Robin.

Looks like it might be a wet one
I think our Carawagon awnings might be popular
By the way, it's £3.00 on the gate - all proceeds going to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance
Cheers,
Robin.

As expected, it was a bit wet!
However, the ground was firm and there were breaks between showers, so we decided to go ahead anyway.
There were only 3 Land Rovers turned up - Kath, Chris & Pete in their RN SWB and Patrick & me in our two Carawagons.
The awning proved popular as expected, and we even had the fire going for most of the day.
Only about 50 cars turned up, due mainly, we think, to many Classic car owners being afraid of rain

so when I was roped in to help judge again, it wasn't too onerous a task
Of course, I declared an interest when it came to judging the 4x4 section, but there were three places and three vehicles, so everyone got a prize
No pics, I'm afraid, but it was a reasonable event, and another chance to catch up with folk.
Cheers,
Robin.
