Remote alarms

A post on another forum has prompted me to mention here about an alarm I've been using for a few months now.
THIS unit is battery powered, both the sender and alarm unit, and seems to work well.
I was dubious at first, thinking I'd be changing batteries every month or so, but both units still have the original AA batteries and are still working.
I set one off regularly as I forget about it every time I go out to get something from the Carawagon, or go to put something in ready for a trip, so it's tested regularly
Of course, it won't stop someone who is really determined or very quick, but the alarm in the house would give me time to put on the lights and get outside to give them a shock, I hope.
Multiple senders can be set to the same frequency - I have them in my projects as well, all triggering the same indoor unit.
Well worth considering for a little bit of peace of mind.
Cheers,
Robin.
