1967 Dormobile 2a for sale.
The Dormobile is taxed (Historic), and MoT’d to end of April 2015.
Chassis plate has been issued by Series 2 club register (not fitted).
A reconditioned diesel engine (2.25) was fitted 2010 by the previous owner.
All Dormatic seats do work as originally intended.
Bunk beds are present.
Free Wheel Hubs are fitted, as is a Fairey overdrive.
Gearbox is later Series 3
There is Army green paint on one wing, and rear body has been drilled in places as if security grills were fitted to rear side windows.
The vehicle received a body off rebuild (estimated to be around 6 years ago) & photographs are available to evidence this.
It has professionally fitted dark tint to the rear windows.
Jack and wheel brace (Wheel rims x 2 (rough but sound) )included.
Being sold due to a change of plans

The vehicle is terrific. The wife has given me an ultimatum, that I cannot afford to ignore.
That is the long & the short of it.
Still a great vehicle, practical, etc. Ideal for what I want to do.

I'm sorry to see this Mark but I think you should keep firm on the asking price, this way you'll get to keep the vehicle a little longer and maybe, just maybe your wife might change her perspective on things . As you know they are quite a difficult vehicle to find so I'm sure a buyer is out there, but you might have to wait a while until he turns up.

Point taken Jerry D. The wife is unlikely to change her position. I wanted parity with Alex's green Dormobile hence the reduction. Is the Dormobile market actually seasonal in the UK? Either way, looks like I will find out.

I doubt it's seasonal Mark - I think anyone who actually wants a Dormobile or camper will be looking all of the time, just waiting for one to turn up, knowing that if they don't buy it someone else will!

There's hardly a surplus of Dormobiles out there, so I don't think it will be long before you find a buyer

Just my opinion, though.

Buying or selling a dormobile or a carawagon
is not seasonal,it's a matter of buying one when
they come up for sale.As they are so rarely for
sale.I am sure someone will be along to disagree!!!!
