Seat belts

My Dormie has never had seat belts but I'm aiming to fit some before my next trip. I would appreciate it if any of you that do actually have seat belts could post some pictures of what you have fitted and of the anchor points, particularly of the upper door post mountings.

Mine has some very dodgy looking mounts for the front seats but they are not a legal requirement here (due to the vehicle age). But if fitted you get prosecuted if they are not worn.
There is a hole drilled right through the B pillar but I'll have to investigate if there is a 'crush tube' inside. On the drivers side the hole in the B pillar has been plugged with a cork from a wine bottle and a 3-point harness fitted.
I don't think SWMBO will let me take the kids out without at least lap belts so I'd also be interested to see how people have fitted belts.

Is yours a 3 or 5 door?
Exmoor trim do both options, and the only issue on mine is going to be anchoring the reel down (3 door, but the bulkhead is wooden).

Mine had seatbelts in the front and I fitted Defender inertia belts for the kids in the back of the Dormobile.
I used the standard mounting plates on the C pilars and drilled the holes for the floor point behind the seats. The points next to the door I bolted under the existing bolts of the frame. I will take some pictures and put them up here.
Jerry has done the same, I got the idea from him.
I'm sure there are some pictures floating about on the forum.
Hope this helps...

Thanks for the replies. I have a 5 door, as indeed most Dormobiles are. I'm really only planning on fitting seat belts to the front seats. The dog can fend for itself although to be honest, neither the wife or the dog will venture out in a vehicle that doesn't have air-conditioning.

There is a Dormobile owner in the States that has an airconditioner installed. Can't remember the name though.

They all have aircon, or don't the front vents count?
